The purpose of these photo galleries is to show potential customers, whether they be fun divers or students, the kind of environment that they will be able to enjoy here. That is why I have initially grouped the galleries into the separate dive sites that I regularly visit. I will post a gallery of students photographs in the near future.
The second purpose is to give me somewhere to display my images. I was very into photography as a hobby when I was in my teens and twenties. I stopped taking photos because I had stacks of images that nobody ever looked at. It felt like a self indulgent and pointless exercise.
Photography has been transformed by the digital revolution – not only by the development of the cameras, but also by the methods that enable people to share and view them. Younger people take this all for granted, quite naturally! However, I feel privileged to have witnessed it, and great excitement to join it.
That is why when I decided to become an instructor back in the year 2000, one of my first investments was in a digital camera and housing. Little did I know how this was going to drag me, sometimes kicking and screaming, into the world of IT!
All the images have been taken by me, and I retain copyright. ENJOY!!
