Ferry Schedule for Mersing to Tioman for March 2018.
The Ferry Schedule for Mersing to Tioman ferry service for March 2018 has now been published. It is at the bottom of this page.
Bluewater currently advise their customers to be at the Mersing ferry terminal one hour in advance of the schedule when departing. There is a small shop on the terminal for cold drinks and snacks. There is a nice restaurant at the entrance called ‘The Port’, and there are several more local food stalls less than fifty meters to the south. You will also find some tourist oriented shops and some offices for island holidays in this area.
Bluewater can be flexible and sometimes run unscheduled boats at busy times.
Buying your ticket at Mersing jetty can be a trying experience. You have to buy your ticket at one counter, then register for the boat at another, pay the Marine Park entrance fee and then go to another counter for your boarding pass. All four can involve queuing and it can take some time to complete these tasks so make sure you arrive in plenty of time.

For your return journey back from Tioman to Mersing, the time is from the jetty at Tekek. For the return journey from Salang you are currently advised to be at the jetty at least half an hour before the published time. However, flexi-time is normal practice here, so I recommend you bring a book and some patience! When I come back I normally hang out in one of the restaurants close to the jetty and wait in comfort.
