Divers heading for the deep.

If you are a diver you must have a sense of adventure – that is what drives us all into it in the first place! The Deep Diver Specialty course is for the adventurous diver who wants to experience the maximum that recreational diving permits!

We look at the hazards and benefits of deep diving. We cover equipment requirements, dive planning with special regard to decompression limits, and develop your skills and knowledge to take on this challenge, with safety being the top priority!

The maximum limit for recreational diving is forty meters. After successfully completed this course you will be certified and competent to go there in comfort and safety.

You need to be reasonably fit and healthy to undertake the PADI Deep Diver course, so please check out the medical form below. Make sure that you can answer ‘No’ to all the questions on the first page. If you need to answer ‘Yes’ to any of the questions, print out the form, and seek the advice of your doctor. If he declares you fit to dive, please get him or her to fill out the form and then bring it with you when you visit.

Heading for Chebeh – deep dive favourite, Tioman Island.

During the course the student will get to see some of the best of the diving to be had from Tioman Island. In these waters it is rare for leisure divers to go below twenty five meters, so the areas that we will visit are rarely dived. They lie untouched and undisturbed by the impact of the diving industry.

The Deep Diver course is recommended for those divers who want to continue their diver development into the sphere of technical or commercial diving.

During 2016 the sea has washed away some of the sand from the lower parts of the beach. This has uncovered some of the rocks below and has made the beach more difficult to cross in bare feet. So I strongly advise participants to bring a pair of flip flops to wear into the water until we are up to our chests. You can then float, take of your flip flops and put on your fins.

You must be at least on Advanced Open Water Diver to enroll on this course.
